🌧️ Tem chovido tanto que até já perdemos a conta…

🌧️ It’s been raining so much we’ve lost count…

This month has been one of those when you look up at the sky and ask: “Are you serious?”
Since the beginning of the month, 338 mm of rain has fallen here — that’s half, I repeat, HALF of what we usually get in a whole YEAR… and we’re only halfway through!! That’s too much water in too short a time, and the impact is starting to show in everything we do.

And here’s the truth: no matter how much we prepare, no matter how much we learn over the years, nature still has that invisible hand that changes everything in a second. We work hard to ensure that flowering happens under the best possible conditions: we’ve installed LED lighting, fine-tuned every detail, completed what nature doesn’t provide… but there are limits. Some days (or months!) we just can’t compete with the sky.

And it’s frustrating.
It’s frustrating to see that, even after refining processes, correcting mistakes, investing in technology and doing everything “by the book”, a burst of rain is enough to throw off our natural schedule. The plants feel it: flowering slows down, shifts, gets delayed. It’s as if our whole plan is hanging by a thread.

But this is also part of agriculture — and of life: that daily battle between what we can control and what is beyond us.
But we’re still here: observing, caring, adjusting, learning. Always.

Despite all this rain, we still believe winter will be good.
And when the sun comes — because it will — we’ll be ready to make the most of every ray, every glimmer, every good day.
Better days will come. They always do ✨
