Since we don't use chemical insecticides, you may find some insects in the packaging. If that happens, soak the product in ice-cold water for 15 minutes with 2% white wine vinegar to sanitize it.
A unique edible flower with a delicious tuber-like flavour that recalls artichoke. It is medium-sized, features detachable yellow petals, and somewhat resembles a sunflower blossom, being part of the same family! It can be used whole or in petals in all kinds of dishes, snacks, desserts, and seasonal drinks. It also makes an incredible tea with a nutty flavour and a consistent golden color. Its season is very short, lasting only a few weeks, as it marks the end of the plant's reproductive cycle, which will reward us with its delicious tubers in the next season.
