Uma empresa também se mede pelas suas gargalhadas

A company is also measured by its laughter

There are important meetings. There are difficult decisions. There are intense days, harvests to gather, orders to prepare, and problems to solve.

And then there are summer festival days.

Days when greenhouses give way to long shared tables, when the scent of plants is replaced by grilled sardines on the embers, and when the sound of trolleys and machines is exchanged for music, conversation, and plenty of laughter.

Last week, we held another edition of our now traditional Microgreens Arraial.

There were sardines, bifanas (traditional pork sandwiches), wine, and desserts. There were piñatas, games, and the kind of conversation that usually gets put on hold because there is always something to do.

Perhaps that is precisely why these moments matter so much.

A company's day-to-day life is built on goals. But its culture is constructed in these smaller moments. Around a table. In a toast. In a shared laugh between people who spend a large part of their lives building something together.

We believe that working well also means knowing how to celebrate well. Pausing for a few hours, sitting everyone at the same table, and allowing what the daily rush rarely permits to happen: each other's company, with no agenda, and no rush.

The next day, we returned to the greenhouses, the harvests, and the deliveries.

But we returned a little closer. And that, as simple as it may seem, ends up making all the difference. Because the best teams are not just those that work well together. They are the ones that also know how to laugh together.

Our arraial is already proof of that. :)
