10 Michelin stars. 8 chefs. 1 unforgettable night.

Last Thursday, the Lisbon sky shone especially bright with the event UNDER THE STARS — a celebration of national haute cuisine that brought together some of the greatest talents in Portuguese gastronomy, on the occasion of the launch of the book Chefs Sem Reservas, by author Nelson Marques, and the 8th anniversary of the iconic SUD Lisboa.

More than just a dinner, it was a moment of connection and affirmation. A night that honoured the behind-the-scenes of the kitchen, the human side of chefs, and the transformative power of food when shared with truth.

8 chefs, 10 stars, 1 single table

Throughout the event, each of the eight chefs —with a total of 10 Michelin stars between them— presented live their vision and creativity, in a menu that was much more than the sum of its parts. A sensorial experience that challenged, moved and, above all, showcased the very best of Portugal.

It was a pleasure and an honour to be part of this celebration —not just on Thursday, but every day. To stand alongside professionals so committed to excellence and the future of gastronomy is, above all, a privilege.
