Faz 1 ano!

It’s been 1 year!

A year ago, we launched our blog. Not with much fanfare, nor with a meticulous strategy. Just with the desire to share — what we know, what we’re learning, what drives us.

We’re not quite sure when the idea came about. Probably during a break between waterings, or while waiting for the seeds to push through the damp cover. And so the blog was born — from a quiet wish to record, share, organise our thoughts, and open a window into what we do.

One year on, we realise the blog has become more than we expected. A space that has extended what we do with our hands: cultivating — ideas, conversations, connections. It has become a place where both technique and memory, practice and emotion, have a place. A possible record of what happens when the tiniest seeds grow into something greater. A place where we not only show what we grow, but also how we do it, why, and with whom.

Rather than trying to teach, we’ve tried to tell stories. Stories of what it’s like to live among microgreens and flowers. How soil (or the lack of it) still surprises us. How a splash of colour can transform a dish — or the way we see it.

We don’t write out of duty, nor to follow trends. What we publish here comes from day-to-day observations, questions people ask us, discoveries that amaze us, or memories that insist on returning — sometimes a recipe, other times a gesture, or a phrase that clings to the skin.

This space has grown at our pace: slowly, but steadily. Like all living things, it’s had more fertile periods and others of quiet. And that feels right. Some months, nature speaks louder than any keyboard.

We’ve reached more people than we imagined. Clients, colleagues, the curious. And also friends — those who were already here and those who found us along the way.

Now, as we mark this first year, we feel like saying thank you. To those who read, comment, send suggestions or simply stop by in silence. Your attention gives meaning to what is written here — and in its own way, helps it grow too.

And while you're here:
What topics would you like to see on the blog?
What interests you? What questions remain unanswered? What stories would you like us to tell? We’re listening.

If writing is an extension of cultivation, then we want to keep doing it with our “hands in the soil” and our eyes on those who walk with us.

Thank you for this year!
