O mito do trabalho na natureza

The myth of working with nature

Some people romanticise working with nature. The countryside, open air, the plants, the cycle of the seasons. The photos look beautiful: fresh flowers, tender leaves, the feeling that everything grows with magical simplicity.
But the truth is far less poetic. Working with nature means living in constant tension. It means dealing with pests that appear overnight, invisible diseases that take hold of crops, humidity and heat that create the perfect storm for everything to spiral out of control. In summer, it’s an explosive cocktail: temperature, humidity and time all working against us.
There is no manual that prepares you for the feeling of losing weeks of work in just a few hours. There’s nothing romantic about spending days trying to save plants that insist on dying.
It’s a tough profession: a hard path, full of risks and frustrations. Only the mad choose this fate. Because despite everything, we keep going. We keep sowing, watering, believing the next batches will go better.
Working with nature is no idyll. It’s resilience.
