Coimbra tem mais encanto na hora da despedida

Coimbra has more charm at the hour of farewell

The team building weekend is already one of those moments that needs no introduction. It is eagerly anticipated throughout the year, lived intensely, and remembered long after it’s over.

Our third team building weekend took us to Coimbra, a city that knows how to welcome people and tell stories. We began at Portugal dos Pequenitos, where the scale shifts but curiosity grows. A place that made us look at the country with more attentive and, inevitably, closer eyes, but above all, it drew out many great laughs.

Lunch at the Safra restaurant was one of those moments that sticks with you. Extraordinary food, yes, but above all a warm and genuine atmosphere. Thank you to Vanessa, her mother, Chef Sérgio, and the whole team for such a personal and attentive service—the kind that makes any table feel like home. Everyone loved it, and that says it all!

We then moved on to Quinta das Lágrimas, where we stayed. We had the opportunity to visit the palace and dive into the history of those who passed through, highlighting the most tragic and beautiful Portuguese romance: Pedro and Inês de Castro. The Fountain of Love, the Fountain of Tears, the gardens—everything invites silence, listening, and memory. It was a calmer moment, almost suspended in time, in the middle of an intense weekend.

The next day, the city called us back to action. Divided into teams, we set off on an urban adventure through Coimbra: mysteries to unravel, problems to solve, clues to follow. A scavenger hunt that was much more than a game; it was a way to get lost to better find ourselves, while getting to know the city step by step. As a point of interest, the yellow team (Paula, Iolanda, Nuno, Valentino, Filipa, and Eugénia) finished in first place, but in the end, Microgreens was the real winner, thanks to everyone's energy, complicity, and fun!

Before heading back, we made our final stop at Rei dos Leitões. An obvious choice, but never banal! The suckling pig was, as always, up to its reputation, but the highlight again goes to the service: helpful, attentive, personal—provided by people who truly know how to host!

We returned tired, but more connected. Because, in the end, these weekends aren’t about the places, but about what happens between us while we explore them. :)

Bring on the next one!!
